A couple of great weather blogs to follow...

This is going to be a short post tonight! As many of you know I'm a HUGE Lakers fan (since 1986) so obviously I'm happy about being up 1-0... Still have a long series to go! The Celtics will not go out easily... Anyways, back to weather... I'm going to leave links to two great weather blogs that I enjoy reading... I highly recommend everyone checking them out!

The first one is done by Dr. Jeff Masters! Jeff flew with the NOAA Hurricane Hunters from 1986-1990... After nearly getting killed flying into Hurricane Hugo, he left the Hurricane Hunters to pursue a Phd at Michigan in pollution meteorology! He has one of the best weather blogs out there! Extremely smart guy that brings up a lot of great/interesting points... I always try to read Dr. Jeff Masters blog! Also, Weather Underground is a great weather site as well... I have used there tropical page a decent amount in the past... Also, it has a great hurricane archive! Here is the link to that: http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/

The second one is done by Devin Toporek! I have just started reading this blog, but I really enjoy it... Devin does a great job and keeps things interesting... You can see the passion he has for the tropics and that's something I always respect! I have learned as a teacher that you can't teach passion! You either have it, or you don't! Devin's blog is called The Northeast Quadrant and I think everyone will enjoy reading it a lot!
