Jersey, AR Wall Cloud Video...

Here is a short 2 min clip from a nice supercell we were on yesterday in Jersey, AR... The overall visibility into this storm was horrible! Some of the roads we were on had trees hanging over them, so you couldn't even see the sky at time, yet alone the supercell... We did get lucky enough to find one decent viewing area into this beautiful supercell... This is the same supercell that eventually went through Memphis, TN later that night... I'll have a full chase summary from both high risk days out tomorrow!

Even though we didn't see any tornadoes, it was still a successful chase in my eyes! Our forecasts were close to dead on even though the road network/terrain/HP nature of these storms didn't help... Pretty much in Arkansas, because of the road network, you get one good shot at a supercell... Once it passes, it's almost impossible to get back on the same supercell again... Bottom line, you better make a great choice and also get very lucky to see tornadoes down here in the south... I've seen my fair share of tornadoes in the south over the last 9 + years, but again it's so darn tough! I will say chasing in the south sure does make you appreciate the great viewing you typically get in the great plains!
